Deloraine - fantasy and pagan music
www.deloraine.cz
Deloraine is a seven-member band from Czech Republic, which was founded in 2016. In their songs, the band deals with themes from fantasy literature as well as from ancient pagan times. Deloraine has released two albums, Vlaštovka and Srdce z kamene (both of which were named album of the week on the biggest Czech music portal musicserver.cz), and several singles including two music videos made for the popular game Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Live, Deloraine's music is very energetic, danceable, and emotional. You can hear the urgent voice and mysterious colors of the many flutes of the Siberian wild woman Masha, the rich baritone of the singer Spars, the artillery of Derias' stringed instruments (bouzouki, guitar, quinterna, saz, oud), the fierce violin of Turmawen, who can also play drums, the rumbling of the bassist Kuba and the shamanic drums of Miloš.
Deloraine has also performed with contemporary folk icons, Germany's Faun, Poland's Percival, and Czech ones such as Spirituál Kvintet and Tomáš Kočko. Deloraine repeatedly appears at major festivals such as Celtic Night, Lughnasad in Nasavrky, or Blavicon. In the autumn of 2019, the band played its first European tour (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium, Poland, and Hungary). In 2022 they completely sold out their traditional home gig at the Brno's castle Špilberk.
