Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, contemporary gospel singer Denita Gibbs knew that music was to be her calling at the age of seven. She spent her formative years honing her faith and her vocal chops, eventually growing into an explosive modern praise & worship singer in the vein of <a href="spotify:artist:47opbYEKDjXnRk9uLscp11">Yolanda Adams</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2hWr3AjjKOCVmWcwvuT4uM">Angie Stone</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:12Kgt2eahvxNWhD5PnSUde">Mary Mary</a>.
