Denney is a singer-songwriter originally from Hampshire in the U.K. Since the age of about 11, she has spent her life writing songs and lyrics in diaries and notebooks - pages and pages which she has still kept. It was only in late 2019 that Denney found the confidence to shine light on her music in a public way. With her first self-released single <a href="spotify:album:0k7KGK9GSz0irapPxvrsvQ" data-name="Overheard">Overheard</a>, Denney began to properly carve out her style of soft sounds, captivating vocal layers and lyrics that read like a diary entry.
 
In the short time that Denney has been recording music ‘properly’, she has already gained recognition and support from BBC Music Introducing and has had Record of the Week twice.
