Derde Verde are a Los Angeles-based indie rock band known for their melodic soundscapes, driving rhythms, and heartfelt songwriting. Formed in 2008, singer/guitarist Dylan McKenzie (vocals/guitar) and bassist Jonathan Schwarz forged a friendship rooted in a deep musical bond, they have since expanded to a trio by adding Colin Woodford on drums. Derde Verde shortly gained attention with a slate of EP’s and live shows at home and on tour. Their 2019 debut full-length album Slow Light, praised by KCRW as "Best New Music", as well as accolades from Austin Town Hall, BuzzbandsLA, L.A. Record and more.
On April 20th Derde Verde release “Don’t Look Away”, the first single from their sophomore album Tug Of War due in June 2023.
