WHO ARE YOU: The des hume initiative is a for-profit organization dedicated to researching utopian social dynamics. As you have likely noticed, we produce musical offerings on a semi-regular basis.
BUT THERE’S A PICTURE OF ONE PERSON: The photographs are AI generated images of The Founder of our organization. They are camera shy, so our archive team has created a composite image with the assistance of machine learning software to create our best interpretation of their present day appearance.
WHO IS DES HUME: The name des hume (pronounced dez hyoom) is a tribute to a fictional character from the greatest television drama of the 21st century (Lost).
WHERE ARE YOU FROM: We are based out of Vancouver, BC - the colonial name for the unceded territories of the Coast Salish Indigenous peoples.
IS THIS A CULT: Certainly not. The dhi is a research organization, registered in Canada. We have been thoroughly investigated on multiple occasions and no formal charges have been filed.
