Raised in a gritty council estate in South East London, Dessireé grew up with only one passion. After being told consistently that the music industry wasn't for her; at the age of 18, she would defy all advice and invest in her home studio. This bedroom aesthetic, alongside her self-taught production skills, became the base for her unique sound. With no money or connections, but a need to create, she ultimately became her own producer, songwriter and creative director. By bringing a new sound to music that is authentic to her identity, Dessireé’s artistry cannot be captured in one box.
