From the countryside of Minas Gerais, Brazil, to all over the world, Mayra Cruz launched herself as a DJ in 2010, starting at small parties to become one of the biggest revelations of the Brazilian electronic scene in 2015. The artist, who has been building her career step by step, tries to break the music standards through her authenticity, bringing influences that range from rock n' roll to pop music.
Devochka — which means girl in Russian — did not only rock audiences in the national dance floors but also started conquering international fans in 2016. Germany, Egypt, France, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, Bolivia and Switzerland are some of the countries where the producer has already shown her music. In Asia, she went viral with a remixed version of her hit song "Aladin", which has accumulated over 50 million streams. This achievement earned her the “Sapphire Play” certification from ABMI (Brazilian Association of Independent Music) in 2023.
The DJ is known for her impressive sets and performances that strongly connect with the crowd. As a result of her hard work Devochka went up in the "TOP 50 DJs of Brazil" ranking in 2016 and in 2017, made by House Mag. Her dedica-tion and devotion to music has already brought her energy to different famous events, including Lollapalooza, Rock in Rio, Só Track Boa, and Festival Planeta Brasil, and also at LoveBase Kulturbrauerei in Berlin.
