Di Laif, an independent music producer hailing from Antigua, Guatemala, has seamlessly blended electronic music with global organic sounds, creating a unique musical landscape. From his roots in Guatemala to his current base in Paris.
His dynamic sound has graced the stages of guatemalan and International festivals, including La Nature/Noname Festival (BE) Mantis (NL) Nyokobop and Havre dê Perche (FR) Cosmic Convergence, and Voices From The Lake (Gt) to name a few. Sharing the spotlight with notable artists such as El Búho, Chancha Via Circuito, Martha van Straaten, Kurup, M. Rux and more.
Di Laif's music has found a home in some of the most influential labels in the electro-organic scene. Notably, he has released tracks under the esteemed Shika Shika Collective, led by artists El Búho and Barrio Lindo, as well as an EP With the classic collector label, Frente Bolivarista and his debut EP "Los Siete Días" on the transatlantic QTZLCTL label. His tracks have also been featured on compilations by Nomade Records, Polish label Basy Tropikalne, international NUMA Label among others.
As a member of the Mazukamba Collective, Di Laif has been instrumental in organizing over 250 events across Central America and Paris. He is also a proud contributor to the multifaceted Ethno Kult and Jux collective, both based in France.
