Kaleema is Heidi Lewandowski, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and vocalist from Buenos Aires who has managed to become a female reference in Latin American electronica after the release of her two studio albums "Nómada" (Tropical Twista Records, 2017) and "Útera" (Wonderwheel Recordings, 2021).
Trained as a classical violinist, she released her debut album "Nómada" receiving critical acclaim for the way she seamlessly intertwines the contemporary with electronic elements and Latin American instrumental tradition.
Her second studio album, "Útera" is an immersive album of exceptional quality, where we find the producer evolving artistically, personally and emotionally. Also built in her machine environment, exploring sophisticated electronic arrangements and advancing her defined and hypnotic vocal line in her production.
The album is organized as a catalog that moves from one style to another, produced with a meticulous sound treatment and serene atmospheres that show that after his first reference "Nómada" (an album that bore great fruits), Kaleema returned with a more hypnotic energy and compositional precision.
Her tours have taken her to some of the most prestigious stages of contemporary electronic music (MUTEK Montreal, Lollapalooza Chile, FUSION, Primavera Sound) among others.
She is currently working on her third studio album to be released through Wonderwheel Recordings from New York.
