Paying tribute to <a href="spotify:artist:4HLWX9kzfraiCsTvrxJEXm">the Chameleons</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:432R46LaYsJZV2Gmc4jUV5">Joy Division</a>, darkwave revivalists Dial M for Murder! create dark, moody pop. Formed in 2007 by David Ortenlöf and Anders Lantto, the Swedish duo has a haunting and stylish sound, with vintage drum machines and lo-fi atmospherics opening and laying down a foundation for brooding vocal melodies. In 2008, the pair gained some attention in Europe with the release of their 7" single "Oh No!" on Tapete Records.
