With their new single, ‘Arrows/Strzałki’ Warsaw Pact signals a return to their signature blend of hard-hitting dance/post-punk. Aggressively driven guitars reclaim the forefront, pushing synths aside. Ivan Delint’s vocals, heavily influenced by She Wants Revenge, deliver a confident yet edgy presence, lyrically throwing listeners back to the angst and relentless drive of early 2000’s indie scene. Specifically from an Angelino point of view, the band even name-dropping the famously short-lived Los Angeles radio station INDIE 103.1FM (if you know you know) and giving a nod to New Order’s ‘Regret’ for good measure.
