Distant People is the Production, DJ, Remix outfit from the UK aka Joey Silvero.
Joey Has been Djing since the early 90s and owned and ran his own Record Shop in the Midlands,
he played at various events including Miss Moneypennys, Lost Weekend, Passion, Funki Dori, more recently at Strawberry fields festival for the last 3 years and other clubs in the UK. Distant People create deep soulful house and spin the deeper big room sounds along with the soulful
house music Distant people are known for producing
Distant People's productions span various labels including Quantize, Purple, Large, Tonys Records, Foliage, Sole Channel, Solid Ground, Adaptation,
Seamless and Club Luxury, with a joint album released in South Africa called Music Within Vol 1 during 2012.
More music is coming soon to Tonys records and Quantize along with Vibe Boutique and other labels.
Distant People also produce the Deep afro influenced sounds of Sister Pearl, the first release was on Tribe records called 'Bang The Drum'
Sister Pearl is a partnership with long time singer song writer Tasita D'mour
who joey has working with on many projects.
Sister Pearl has multiple new follow up tracks that are due to release very soon.
Distant People also have regular Dj slots on Soulside Paris, Global House, SSradio & Strictly House Music which are broadcast globally.
