Obakeng Ramhali was born in Soshanguve, South Africa, and was Raised in Soshanguve. Obakeng began his career in 2008 venturing in Genres Afro - fused house and hip hop. In 2012 he made his composition credits by featuring in a hit song called Y-tjukutja by Uhuru under Kalawa Jazmee Records which won song of the year 2013. From year 2013 onwards he made his popularity known by writing songs such as Nyoso , Our Father, Soweto baby, The Sound , ko morago and many more hits.
In 2017 he worked with HHP and the collaborated on a song called Sgicha which he released in 2018. The song was featured in the album of the international dj group “Major lazer “ and got global recognition.
In late 2018 he started venturing in the Amapiano Genre and made songs with artists like Vigro Deep, Mfr souls and Jazzi Desciples .
In 2019 he became part of a huge Amapiano song that took over the South African streets called Sgubu se monati, produced by Jazzi Desciples and Vigro Deep.
He made he’s presence in the Amapiano Genre known when he featured in the multi platinum selling album “I am the king of Amapiano” by Kabza de small with the song “jwaleng” .
On the 12 of November 2021 he released his debut Amapiano solo project called “Unboxed” which features well known artists such as Vigro Deep, Major league djs, Luudadeejay , Yumbs , Mash O, Dj Thakzin and Tete.
