DJ Gomi is a globally respected producer, songwriter, and DJ originally from Japan and now based in New York City. His career spans decades of influential work across the international dance music world, including collaborations with legendary artists such as Beyoncé, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston.
He is also celebrated for his iconic remix of Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, which remains a dancefloor staple to this day.
After early mentorship under Haruomi Hosono (Yellow Magic Orchestra) and formal training at Berklee College of Music, Gomi moved to NYC and quickly established himself as Junior Vasquez’s main programmer at the iconic Sound Factory.
