DJ KAWASAKI
DJ/リミキサー/サウンド・プロデューサー/作曲家。2005年に、King Streetより12インチ・シングルで世界デビュー。これまでにリリースしたシングルが、iTunesダンス・チャートにて通算8曲連続でNo.1を獲得。2018年には、7’’Vinylでのリリースを中心とした自身のレーベル"KAWASAKI RECORDS"を発足。
2021年6月30日には11年振りのオリジナル・アルバム『One World』をリリース。打ち込みなしの全曲生演奏で、BOOGIEやDISCOのエッセンスを大胆に導入し新境地を見事に切り開いた。

DJ Kawasaki’s first single was released from King Street for world wide release in 2005. He holds the record for having 8 songs reach No.1 in the iTunes Dance chart in Japan.
MAGNETiC is his Disco and Jazz event with Shacho from Soil &”Pimp” Sessions at The Room Shibuya, Tokyo.
From 2018 he started a 7inch label called
Kawasaki Records, releasing Alive ft.Shea Soul(KON’s Higher Love mix), Don’t Put My heart Down ft.Maylee Todd(Dr.Packer remix), Stay This Way ft.N’Dea Davenport by Mano Arriiba and Midnight Magic ft.Roy Ayers by Cro-Magnon.
His latest release is When It Feels Right feat. Monday Michiru (Danny Krivit Edit)/ DJ KAWASAKI.
His 4th original album ONE WORLD was released on 30th July in 2021. He composed and arranged all songs with Japanese musicians with a live band sound. Guest vocalists are Monday Michiru,sauce 81, Taliwa, Maylee Todd, Shea Soul, Emi Tawata and Ayana.
In One World he wanted to bring together elements of raw Dance music with Disco, Boogie and Funk. It is his new direction.
