Some words about the making of my album "The Lost Tape " :
« 3 years ago I started to get bored in the D.L.i.d project because I conceptualized the music too much rather than just making it.
At the time, I was producing a lot of music and sound design for commercials , brands ,... and when I started to compose new songs for the album I had the impression of applying production recipes as if it were a job, rather than letting my emotions speak.
So I put D.L.i.d on pause at the time because I was no longer having fun.
During this period, I still needed to make music, but more spontaneously, to break my routine and find new codes, that's how my new project: "CASINI" started. With this new avatar (which will soon be released) I got a lot more relaxed, and I learned to have fun again playing music because I did not forbid anything.
And then I finally listen with a completely detached ear to all these pieces of DLid that I had left for dead in my computer and I found that there was a good potential, it was a shame to leave all these demos.
So I decided to give them a new life, hence the name of the album "The Lost Tape".
In the end I had a lot of fun making this album and I am very proud of these 12 songs.
I tinkered a lot and explored more incisive sounds and I made a common thread on all the songs.
I just had FUN ! And making The Lost Tape taught me that having fun is the most important !
