Dohatsuten: Pioneers of JAPANESE R&E
Formed in Sapporo in 1984, Dohatsuten has carved out a unique rock 'n' roll path, defining their explosive and distinct sound as JAPANESE R&E (Rhythm & Enka).
Their music is an ambitious blend of genres, spanning traditional Japanese Shōwa Kayō and Enka with fierce Rock, Heavy Metal, and Hardcore Punk. This versatility creates a powerful and unmatched band sound in Japan.
増子直純（VO）、上原子友康（GTR）、坂詰克彦（DR）
1984年、札幌にて結成。自らの音楽性をJAPANESE R&E（リズム＆演歌）を称し、独自のロックンロール道を確立。昭和歌謡、演歌、ロック、ヘヴィーメタル、ハードコアパンクまで多岐に渡るバンドサウンド、ボーカル増子の歌詞とエモーショナルライブパフィーマンス、さらにその真逆をいく流暢なMCが混在するステージは圧巻。
メンバーが還暦となる2026年は、「還暦上等！生涯現役スタミナ街道」と銘打った全60公演のライブを実施！
