Don't Tell Julie is a duo with J Sky “@jskyproduction”, a pop-punk/rapper/producer and Jules Van Pevenage , a folk/pop singer-songwriter. The two found each other through J Sky’s love of all things emo / pop-punk, Jules’ love of all things moody, and the chaotic and colorful lifestyle they both grew up in. They have appointed themselves as Generals for the Pop Punk Revival married with the cultural truth-telling and lyricism of a Folk revolution. Their weapons of choice? A guitar, a voice, a notepad, and endless coffee. The lyrics they come up with are meant to evoke the hopelessness of adolescents, the deepening hopelessness you thought you’d lose as an adult, and every emotional span in between. Their latest song, "Snowglobe,” hones in on those ageless feelings of stagnancy, of being on the precipice of something big and then pulling yourself back. It captures those feelings of loneliness and desire to escape but not knowing how to face the fear. With a music video, interviews with the artists and BTS footage, they are ready to let you into their world. First stop: "Snowglobe."
