Start A Riot

Start A Riot is an italian hyper pop-punk founded in 2020 by Sara Rojec Riottosa, leader of the metal-core band Marry Me In Vegas, who was joined by Francesco Capuani (guitars) and Paolo Conte (drums). The project also features a steady collaboration with producer Phvck, aka Phill Mazzeo, who produced their first single “Mine”, released in 2020.

“On My Own” was released in october 2023, produced by Francesco Capuani and Phvck, recorded, mixed and mastered by Andrea Fusini at Fusix Studio (La Sad), drums by Raphael Saini.

Their single “Everybody Lies” was released on March 2024, followed by “Madelaide” on June 28th and “Last Year Was a Mess” on december 20th of the same year.

Common themes in all of the band’s releases are the colors pink and blue, as well as cats (S.a.r., a green-eyed kitten is the band’s mascot): distinctive symbols of their aesthetic and concept, setting them apart in the Italian music scene.

The band mixes a traditional pop-punk sound with a modern k-pop.
They stated influences from bands artists such as Paramore, Blink 182, New Found Glory, Stand Atlantic, The Story So Far, Machine Gun Kelly e Neck Deep.
