Dorota Piotrowska is a Polish jazz drummer, composer, and bandleader whose work bridges the European and New York jazz scenes. After spending eight years in New York, where she studied at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and performed with leading jazz artists, she returned to Poland and founded the international ensemble Sound Circle feat. Greg Osby.

Her music combines contemporary jazz with Latin, Nordic, and Middle Eastern influences, drawing inspiration from literature, dance, and intercultural dialogue. Dorota has performed at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, Smalls Jazz Club, Zinc Bar, and Iridium, and has collaborated with artists such as Greg Osby, Jeremy Pelt, Zaccai and Luques Curtis, Ewa Uryga, and Cæcilie Norby.

Her latest album "Voices of Human Consciousness" brings together musicians from six countries in a global musical conversation about culture, identity, and human connection.
