Dotzd

One-man band from Mexico City that can be mainly described as "post-rock" and "blackgaze". Dotzd incorpores elements of ambient music mixed in harmony with extreme music to result into an ethereal and dreamlike sound.

Dotzd's music takes the listener to dreamy and fantasy places through guitars full of effects, distortion and a lot of sound layers, thus creating an immense soundscape.

Post-Rock, Shoegaze, Post-Metal, Blackgaze, Sludge, Slowcore, Ambient, Psychedelia and Noise result in “Tempo”. An album that, even if it is not focused on a single genre, takes elements from all of these to achieve different textures in its songs, thus showing an album full of changes between melancholy, tranquility, chaos and sadness.

“Tempo” is an analogy to the passage of time, going from Dawn to Sunset, like life itself. A rise and fall of emotions.
