Dreone is a sort of metaphor/vessel for my late friends Jacob and John, my childhood best friends/brothers who both made the choice to end their lives prematurely and left this earth to journey into the stars. We were inseparable. For me, their spirit now lives on within the Dreone system, exploring deep space, learning the cosmos and re-gaining sentience which will include senses humans can only dream of. Several other friends in our circle left shortly after them and more continue to leave to this day.
