E J R M (Elton John’s Rocket Man) is the soul-soothing ambient music project of Colorado-based multi-instrumentalist Drew M. Geiger. Launched in 2019 just before the pandemic. E J R M grew from Drew’s journey through neo-classical piano and nostalgic alt-rock. He eventually evolved into a deeply therapeutic soundscape in response to his struggles with an autoimmune disease and the daily toll of stress and anxiety. This musical project became a lifeline, offering him and his listeners a powerful outlet for calm and reflection.
E J R M’s immersive soundscapes, rich with emotion, have resonated far and wide, featured on Bill Nye’s Planetary Society YouTube channel, on internet radio, and across meditative YouTube channels. In 2024, He released I Do, I See It In The Sky, an album reflecting a challenging year marked by heartache and family health struggles.
Drew now channels his talent to support local artists in Colorado Springs and brings peace to two local hospitals with his calming piano playing.
