Jamaican dancehall producer Dunw3ll went from a self-taught fruity loops hobbyist to making beats for <a href="spotify:artist:2NUz5P42WqkxilbI8ocN76" data-name="Vybz Kartel">Vybz Kartel</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:62DmErcU7dqZbJaDqwsqzR" data-name="Popcaan">Popcaan</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1fctva4kpRbg2k3v7kwRuS" data-name="Rvssian">Rvssian</a> and more. He has contributed to a number of mid to late-2010s dancehall hits including the billboard charting, gold certified “Fever” with <a href="spotify:artist:2NUz5P42WqkxilbI8ocN76" data-name="Vybz Kartel">Vybz Kartel</a>.
Dunw3ll was born Mario Dunwell in 1993. He grew up in a family of music lovers and it was there that his music interests started. An addiction to the art ensued and through a mutual friend he got the chance to coproduce a track for <a href="spotify:artist:2NUz5P42WqkxilbI8ocN76" data-name="Vybz Kartel">Vybz Kartel</a>. It was here Dunw3ll found his calling. <a href="spotify:artist:62DmErcU7dqZbJaDqwsqzR" data-name="Popcaan">Popcaan</a>’s album “Where We Come From” also featured the skills of Dunw3ll who sat in with MixPak's Dre Skull to record and produce. After establishing a relationship with Linton "TJ" White, renowned for working with Dancehall Icon <a href="spotify:artist:2NUz5P42WqkxilbI8ocN76" data-name="Vybz Kartel">Vybz Kartel</a>, Dunw3ll’s catalogue went sky high, working on a number of hit singles including “Without Money”, “Miami Vice Episode”, “Blackberry”, “Cya Test We”, “CT Scan”, “Pressure”, “Man Straight”, “Dancehall” and “Gone Get Better” - which was covered by American girl group <a href="spotify:artist:1l8Fu6IkuTP0U5QetQJ5Xt" data-name="Fifth Harmony">Fifth Harmony</a>.
