DYVR is a queer artist and activist, who uses electronics to create deeply personal songs about the constraints of sexuality and gender - and how love is found and expressed through those constraints. The sound is rich and atmospheric, with Dyvr's stunning vocal taking centre stage.
Since relocating to Ireland, Dyvr has received support from the likes of Dan Hegarty, Tara Stewart and Nessy Monaghan as well publications like Nialler9 and Hot Press. Dyvr has also received praise from The Line of Best Fit, Dork, Earmilk, Nialler 9 and Attitude Magazine, as well as BBC 6Music’s Lauren Laverne.
Dyvr's latest single Holding Back was released in March 2021 to massive acclaim, and is the first single from an upcoming EP called Part Three, a record that talks about the continued struggle that the queer community faces to be fully visible.
