Sax-Man Elan Trotman is a native of the beautiful island of Barbados. Other than Rihanna, Elan is the only other artist from the island to top the Billboard charts over 10 times with his smooth jazz singles and featured appearances. Elan is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and the founder of the Never Lose Your Drive Foundation/ Headstart Music Program. In 2014 he launched the Barbados Jazz Excursion and Golf Weekend, an annual weekend getaway with concerts, celebrity golf outings and island excursions.
He’s toured and recorded with an A-list of artists including Jonathan Butler, Jeffrey Osborne, Will Downing, Johnny Gill, Jeff Lorber, Harvey Mason, Earl Klugh, Keiko Matsui and Peter White.
Elan’s latest release “Dear Marvin” pays tribute to the late great Marvin Gaye.
