After graduating high school, Melbourne-based Ella Clair moved to London to pull pints in a pub, travel alone and write music. During this time Ella had the musical epiphany to separate her impressively large catalog of unreleased songs into chronological order. She moved back to Sydney to record her debut EP, 'My Red, Your Red' with the aim of utilising as many female musicians as possible. Clair’s decision to do so stems from a social and political passion for an equal gender experience in the music industry.
“My Red, Your Red” is the first in a 3-part plan for the young singer-songwriter, which will document through Clair’s warm voice and “old soul” writing, the globally relatable coming-of-age experience.
