Elvira Querol was born in Ulldecona (Catalonia). She studied under professor Josep Fuster at Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona, where she got the bachelor degree in clarinet performance. She continued her education at Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe (Germany) under professor Wolfgang Meyer. She also completed a Master’s Degree in Performance and Music Research at Valencian International University (VIU).

In the orchestra field, she is a member of the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra (ONCA), she was regularly invited by the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC), as well as she has played in the Orquestra de Cambra de Granollers, Grup Instrumental Barcelona 216, Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, Orquestra de Cambra de Vila-seca and in the GIOrquestra.

She recorded for Catalunya Música, Televisió de Catalunya and for the Radio and Television of Andorra. She has recently recorded the CDs Monòlegs: de Bach a Berio, which includes works for solo clarinet; Delicatamente, which includes works for clarinet and piano; Converses per a dos clarinets, with pieces for two clarinets; and Monòlegs II, with pieces for solo clarinet.

She currently plays as solo clarinet at the Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra (ONCA).
