Bergen, Norway based Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies is one of the longest-running bands on the Norwegian underground rock scene. Formed in 1996, maintaining the same line-up since 1998.
Drawing influences from a wide range of influences, their sound comprises elements from (among others) dark americana, bombastic rock stylings of the 70s, psychedelia, krautrock and norwegian jazz soundscapes.
Since their debut «Viva Revenge» in 1999, they have released five studio albums, one live album and toured extensively throughout Northern Europe.
