A sensuous and unique instrument, the human voice is our life, connexion and unity. For the last twelve years the Ensemble Aedes’ unique timbre has been electrifying its audiences as the ensemble continues to strive towards a vocal ideal of homogeneity, brilliance and power.
The vocal timbre of the Ensemble Aedes engages the entire body, whence flows its dramatic and deeply lyrical expressivity.

Each of our programmes is constructed around a dramatic theme, taking our audiences on a creative journey through five centuries of vocal works rich in different genres.
