Ethan Stallings Group emerged in 2022, but the roots run deeper. An Augusta, GA collective of longtime collaborators who’ve been going hard for the better part of a decade. What began as a passion project among friends has evolved into a genre defying pop powerhouse.
ESG sits comfortably at the crossroads of pop, soft rock, jazz fusion, electronic house, and even brushes of neo-soul and Latin rhythm. Their latest output, including standout singles like “Ride or Die,” “Orange Court,” and the dancefloor ready “Dance With Me,” reveals a band fluent in earworms and blending nostalgic textures with cutting edge production.
Their new single, “Quinn and Vinnie,” is a prime example: a slick, groove that draws equally from pop, jazz, indie and late night synth funk, anchored by Stallings’ velvety vocals and a class that wouldn’t feel out of place in a indie rock or Steely Dan setlist. It's vibrant, cinematic, and effortlessly cool.
As they push forward, ESG continues to experiment boldly sliding between genres, but always grounded in one truth: the hook is king, and the groove never lies. For fans of Pat Metheny Group, Steely Dan, Dave Matthew’s Band, Goose, Kings Of Leon and those craving something new but familiar, Ethan Stallings Group is a name worth remembering.
