What happens when rock n' roll and Mexican talent come together? Exactly, a band that shows that rock can be something beyond what many people think.
Fake Out is a band from Mexico City formed in 2017 by its vocalist Maximilian Cortés (Maximilian), and lead guitar Rodrigo González (Rodry).
Over the years, Maximilian and Rodry remained the constant in Fake Out's lineup, anchoring the group as members and guests cycled through the studio and stage, such as Ricardo L. (Bass), Emmanuel Uriel (Drums), Corvus (<a href="spotify:artist:4qYXZCmPtGTg6bP500K2Af" data-name="Venthory">Venthory</a>'s Drummer) and Albert M. (Infectious Princesses's Bass).
Nowadays, the official lineup is formed with Maximilian (leader, vocals and guitar), Rodry (leader and lead guitar), Alfredo Cadena (bass) and Gabriela Guerrero (Drums).
On February 14th of 2022 they released their first EP album of 5 songs entitled "Love Isn't Here". And in 2025 they realeased their first Album Studio "Another Place" LP.
Playing at the amusement park "Six Flags Mexico" in 2021 as their first concert, Cortés and González formally started the musical project.
Performing in Six Flags, McCarthy's, HouseOfVans, Foro Amberes, The Real Under, Gato Calavera, Foro Voltaje, Foro Capitán Gallo and in many others iconic places of the mexican underground scene, they are considered one of the best bands of the new underground rock era.
Although now it is growing, Fake Out proves to be a group that has a lot to offer and a great and long way to go. They are the sign that music has no borders.
