Mixing reference humor and music, always exploring with exaggerated ridicule and kitsch devices, Falcão departed from his local, restricted performances for a national success with the hit "I'm Not Dog No" (corrupted English version of Waldick Soriano's "Eu Não Sou Cachorro Não"), included in his first solo album (Bonito, Lindo, e Joiado, 1992). The second album (O Dinheiro Não é Tudo, Mas é 100%, 1994), had the hit "Black People Car" (again based in a brega success, this time "Fuscão Preto"). But his first real smash was "Hollyday Foi Muito" from his third album (A Besteira é a Base da Sabedoria, 1995). His subsequent albums had success with "A Um Passo da MPB" and "Tu És O MDC da Minha Vida" (by Raul Seixas/Paulo Coelho). ~ Alvaro Neder, Rovi
