Born from the collaboration between Ivano and Mark Borgazzi, Family Habits has a warm and soothing energy. This project celebrates great memories while looking ahead with imagination and curiosity. Rich tones evoke a vision of community and collective creativity, where experiences from various locations and eras combine and translate into that supreme common denominator: music.
Their debut EP, PEOPLE ARE MOSAICS, is out now.
About the inspiration behind the EP they say “ Innumerable factors influence the personality of each and every one of us, our personal experiences, the people in our environment, the places we grow up in and live in. The elements that make us who we are, are vast and almost infinite, and we ourselves contain an incredible number of diverse and contrasting traits. This is a set of songs aimed to building bridges between generations, it talks about diversity and identity".
The Borgazzis have worked with many different artists. They recently featured on "Deafened" by Folamour, which is the bonus tracks on his latest album. Mark's voice is not unknown to the electronic music world as he also appears on "September" by Bondax and many other great titles + was part of London’s trio Rumours, while Ivano (pianist and composer) is known and active on the Italian Jazz scene. In the 90s he founded the Acid Jazz revelation Funky Company.
