FAWNA is the dynamic solo project of Canadian singer-songwriter Jenna Deagle-Potter. Masterful in the art of genre-bending, she blends R&B, Trip-Hop, and Electronic Music to craft an immersive and introspective soundscape. Her music, rich with personal narratives and emotive storytelling, weaves spellbinding melodies through themes of transformation and self-discovery.
Jenna began her musical journey in the Halifax indie scene, performing with various bands and discovering her unique voice as an artist. In 2014, she relocated to Montreal to pursue her solo career and earn a degree in Intermedia/Cyberarts. While immersed in Montreal's vibrant music community, she quickly gained recognition for her captivating performances and innovative collaborations with local artists. FAWNA was born from Jenna's desire to merge her love for music and visual art into a singular, powerful identity.
Her debut EP, Vol. 1 (2016), introduced her unique sound, marking the beginning of her solo career. In 2019, FAWNA teamed up with producer Cobrayama for the CLEAR EP, showcasing her versatility as an artist. After a series of collaborations, FAWNA released Vol. 2 (November 2024), marking a bold evolution in her artistry.
Having performed alongside international talent, FAWNA captivates audiences with her commanding stage presence. With a 2025 tour on the horizon, FAWNA continues to push boundaries and solidify her reputation as a rising voice in contemporary music.
