FIASKO is a sludge/black/post metal band based in Warsaw, Poland. Our first release (Głupcy Umierają) had more of a groove/alt/industrial metal feeling. After some changes in line-up and philosophy, we spontaneously took a different turn. What came into existence as a result is "Mizantropolia" EP which premiered 22/02/2020. Almost 5 years later a second full album emerges:
FIASKO started working on the album immediately after their last release, the “Mizantropolia” EP which saw the light of day in February 2020. The band’s efforts were hindered by the lack of a drummer, however, that was rectified after Tomek Walczak (Chainsword, Tankograd, Weedpecker etc.) was invited in 2023 to collaborate and arrange the drum tracks as a guest/session drummer. “AMOK ꓘOMA” comprises eight songs about death and love, love for death and the death of love. It's a fierce blend of black metal blast beats, heavy sludge riffing and rabid vocals of violent despair.
