Finlanders are a popular Finnish adult contemporary band, whose career spans several decades, from the 1980s well into the 2020th decade. Founded originally in 1984, band's latter-day lineup features Aarne Hartelin (bass, vocal), Mika Heinonen (keyboards, accordion, vocal), Juho Jokio (guitar, vocal), and Pasi Ketola (saxophones, clarinet, vocal), Juha Kangassalo (drums, vocal).
Finlanders became known nationally through the Finnish MTV program ''Kesätanssit'' in the year of 1986. Through the 80s and 90s, their popularity remained quite steady, they travelled around doing lots of gigs and released an album about every year.
In 2003 Finlanders earned their first gold album award for ''Anna jatkua yön'', which was released two years before.

The band's popularity peaked at 2005 when they released an album ''Seikkailija''. It includes a ballad "Oikeesti", which was a big hit in Finland and was chosen for the ''best schlager of the year''.
Seikkailija was certified platinum two years after, in 2007.

Finlanders has earned two albums, that have been certified platinum : Seikkailija (2007) & Juhlalevy 20v. (2014), and two that have been certified to gold : Anna jatkua yön (2003) & Mitä sulle kuuluu (2009).
