2007年，参加《蒙牛风云新人》的比赛，获得全国总决赛九强，从而正式进入演艺圈；同年，获得“音乐风云榜”最受媒体关注新人奖。2009年，参加 北京电视台青少频道“寻找青春代言人”的比赛，获得全国总决赛十强。2010年，参加《蒙牛酸酸乳音乐梦想学院》的比赛，获得总决赛冠军[1] ；同年，获得“第三届音乐风云榜新人盛典”新人盛典特别推荐大奖。2012年，推出首张个人EP专辑《借你疗伤》；同年，在青春爱情微电影《光辉岁月》中饰演男主角苏木。2015年，获得“广州音乐先锋榜颁奖典礼”先锋新人奖。
2016年3月，推出首张个人音乐专辑《刘凤瑶》 。

In 2007, Finn participated in the competition of Mengniu and won the Top 9 National Finals and officially entered the music industry. In the same year, he won the Most Media Popular New Artist Award from Top Chinese Music Awards. In 2009, Finn participated in the competition of "Looking for Poster Youth" held by Beijing TV Station Youth Channel and entered Top 10. In 2010, Finn won the championship of Mengniu Music Academy;
In 2012, Finn released his first EP album, "Wounds". In March 2016, the very first album of Finn called "Liu Fengyao" was released.
