Fiona Bevan is a Canadian-British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Suffolk, UK, with a delicate, passionate voice and a soulful, cinematic dream-folk sound, creating "startling odysseys that suggest Erykah Badu, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush spine-tinglingly joined" (The Guardian).
Fiona has been teasing out singles from her self-produced Girl With Telescope EP, including her dazzling exploration of post-heartbreak ecstasy ‘Faultlines’, and her acapella clarion call of female freedom and pleasure, ‘Peaches’. She is about to start releasing more self-produced singles from her forthcoming EP ‘First Woman On The Moon’. Written, performed and produced by Fiona, these two sister EPs form an emotional, organic, uplifting, psychedelic journey.
Her previous EP, ‘Wild Angels Sweet Demons’, was produced by Grammy award-winning engineer Robin Baynton (Mumford And Sons, Laura Marling, Isaac Gracie) and went to number 3 in the iTunes UK and France singer-songwriter charts. The EP was an eagerly awaited followup to Fiona’s debut studio album, 'Talk To Strangers', which was released in UK, Europe, Australia, Japan,USA + Canada (Universal Canada).
Meanwhile Fiona works as a multiplatinum songwriter, writing hits for other artists including the international no.1 'Little Things' for One Direction, plus singles with Kylie Minogue, Billie Marten, Lights, AURORA , Lewis Capaldi, Tom Walker, Joy Crookes, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Mika, Natalie Prass, Matthew E. White. On tour this year.
