A successful person once told me, if you wanna be successful, you gotta take big risks. I always knew that, but someone telling me that face to face struck me on a different level.
So I asked my self, what's the one thing I know I'm good at. At the time I was already making cover songs in my free time. Which was something I really enjoyed, but I was never good at writing lyrics. I like all kinds of music. Starting from Death metal, all the way up to Orchestral (well… instrumental). But Hip Hop and orchestral music stood at the top. And that's when I realised, there're one genre of music that I'm aware of, that don't require lyrics and it just so happened to be related Hip Hop and instrumental music, Lo-fi.
It's like a match made in heaven, my two top genres combined into one. That was when I realised, there's a genre out there that matches me, I have the tools, and the skills, and with a lot of learning, I can become successful in this industry. I know I can do this.
