There are countless faithful Jesus-followers working in the mainstream music, media, and movie industries in Southern California. And God gave two of those professionals, Joel Weldon and Tom Mgrdichian, a vision to create something very special: connect entertainment industry talent to the local worship community.
Tom Mgrdichian is a producer, songwriter and composer with a long history of pop music and movie credits, having worked with Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, David Foster and many more. His movie credits include Wild Hogs, Die Hard 2, and others.
Joel Weldon is a seasoned voice actor whose voice is heard on ad campaigns and network narration including Toyota, NASCAR, Fox Sports, etc. He's also lent his musical talents to ministry campaigns with Franklin Graham and Greg Laurie, among others.
Lexi Jones is a powerful young worship leader, having led at many churches across So Cal, including Greg Laurie’s Harvest Christian Fellowship. She became a SAG actress as a teenager, appearing in movies like Deep Impact with Elijah Wood.
Matthew Scott is an artistic force. His modern voice has a tone that quickly captures ear and heart. He's a veteran worship leader in SoCal.
Together, Firma Collective has a mission: Create a new platform and a “family” for talented believers in all walks of life to make fresh, Christ-honoring music.
