2x Grammy nominated and 5x Dove Award winning Songwriter and Artist Michael Farren migrated to Nashville from Texas 20 years ago. Raised with a deep love for all kinds of music, Michael has penned hundreds of songs that span multiple genres. From Lauren Daigle's Grammy Nominated and now platinum single “Trust In You”, Reba McEntire’s Grammy winning album title track “Sing It Now”, to Christine D'Clario’s Dove Award winning Spanish album of the year “Eterno Live”, Michael has enjoyed diverse success.
His first commercial cut was the global worship anthem “Let It Rain”, which appeared on Michael W. Smith’s RIAA certified double platinum album “Worship”. Over the last 2 decades an ever expanding list artists have sung Michael’s songs including Zach Williams, Reba McEntire, Cory Asbury, Blind Boys Of Alabama, Abby Anderson, The Dryes, Jake Hoot, CityAlight, Big Daddy Weave, Emily Ann Roberts, Karen Peck, SideWalk Prophets, and The Gettys, just to name a handful.
When he’s not fishing or running around in the woods in his Jeep, you can find him with a good cigar at his favorite cigar shop, Mission Cigar and Social, which he gladly added to his official bio for a free cigar.
