Just one of the acts making Cincinnati one of the seminal cities for underground rap, Five Deez formed around area producer/MC extraordinaire <a href="spotify:artist:5Fmr3KeGe2IAVFmMxUq1sD">Fat Jon the Ample Soul Physician</a> and MC/producer Pase Rock. The pair debuted with EPs in 1999 and 2000, then released their first full-length, Koolmotor, in 2001.
