Kero One is a Korean-Californian rapper, producer, and DJ credited with reviving jazz-influenced hip-hop through his signature blend of live instrumentation and vibey samples when very few were. He debuted in 2003 with his self-released vinyl Check the Blueprints, gaining a cult following in Japan and selling over 75,000 records across Asia.

Over the course of five solo albums and international tours, Kero carved out a global fanbase drawn to mellow, jazzy beats—now widely recognized as "lofi" or "jazz hip-hop." While staying independent and true to his sound, Kero garnered mainstream attention with airplay on BBC Radio 1, features in Forbes, and co-signs from legends like Stevie Wonder and Will.I.Am, as well as major K-pop artists.

His jazz-hop legacy took a new turn when he produced "Ordinary Love" for Block B’s Park Kyung—a #1 hit in Korea—blending jazzy beats with pop compositions. In 2019, Kero headlined the world’s first international jazz-hop/lofi tour across the U.S. and Asia, with plans for Europe interrupted by the global pandemic.

Still forging new paths, Kero One continues to innovate as a solo artist and producer for vocalists worldwide.
