Fjord Mustang was an indie rock project based in Toronto, Canada. The trio was comprised of Vick Egan, Devon Pelley and Nathan Smofsky. Their sound is a collision of 90’s indie rock and folk-rock, filled with propulsive rhythm, soaring melodic guitar riffs, and powerful vocals. Fjord Mustang gained recognition in Toronto for their energy-driven live shows. From delicate acoustic ballads to ambitious rock choruses, they've been known to leave audiences guessing and wanting more.
After seeing their debut performance at NXNE 2022, Sarah Sleeth of Twin Fang Records signed the band a few months later. Their album ‘Solitaire’ was produced and mixed by Drew Deakin Thomas, and mastered by Nik Kozub. Drums on a majority of the tracks were performed by Ian Romano.
