<a href="spotify:artist:0oeLaiPnzlQLpPOVcHJ8Fy" data-name="Flame Griller">Flame Griller</a> is a jazz hip-hop trio from West Yorkshire featuring vocalists & producers <a href="spotify:artist:10MXiX0WFbo7Fct5aFPMGp" data-name="ExP">ExP</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5obPu2MN5wTIexHpmFjRLk" data-name="JND">JND</a> & Addverse.
Taking their inspiration from the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots and Jurassic 5, Flame Griller blend “down-to-earth content” and “jazzy production” with an eclectic combination of tones and writing styles. The result is “an authentic, unique image, vibe... and an excellent live performance”. Flame Griller have independently released two albums on Yorkshire Day 2012 and 2015, both reaching number one in the sale charts on bandcamp and were shared & supported by the likes of DJ Format, Frankie Boyle and DJ Yoda. Flame Griller also launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowd-fund a vinyl featuring a selection of tracks from their first two albums. It took only two out of twelve weeks to reach their target, thanks to their fantastic supporters.
