DJ and producer Daniel Stenger lives and breathes music. Since 2003, his jazz'n funky downbeats under his alter ego "Flashbaxx" have landed on international compilations (including Sony Music, EMI, Ministry Of Sound) alongside the likes of Moby, Jazzanova, Blank & Jones and Bonobo and have repeatedly found their way into the playlists of DJs and tastemakers such as Rainer Trüby (Compost), Robert Luis (Tru Thoughts) and Daniel Paul (Cabinet Records).
His latest Flashbaxx release „Take Care My Friend“ (NuNorthern Soul, UK) is no exception: the mini-album released in 2022 was extremely well received by the scene and heralded a small comeback for the Aschaffenburg native after almost 10 years of abstinence. Well-known producers such as Atjazz and Moods were engaged for
the Remix-EP.
In his DJ sets, he seamlessly blends different facets from downbeat to house with influences from disco, boogie, jazz and funk. Since 2024, Stenger has also been performing as a live act under his real name, bringing his own mash-ups of disco and house classics to the dancefloor with a synth and sampler.
