Following a busy year of touring and festival appearances, Bradford quintet FLING continue to build a fiercely loyal following with their unique brand of uplifting indie-rock. Produced by Lee Smith (The Cribs, Easy Life, Pulled Apart By Horses) at Greenmount Studios in Leeds, recent singles ‘Windmill’ and ‘One Day’ have seen the band go from strength to strength, coinciding with some exciting live appearances including a headline show at Notting Hill Arts Club, support for The Specials at a 5,000 capacity Piece Hall show in Halifax, following a special headline show for Independent Venue Week at the Exchange Arts Centre in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

Championed by Steve Lamacq (6Music), Huw Stephens (Radio 1), Gideon Coe and Tom Robinson (6Music), the band have also enjoyed further support from Radio X and Beats 1 alongside features on several curated Spotify playlists. While staying true to the colourful psych-pop of their debut album ‘FLING OR DIE’ (released Feb 2019 via Dance To The Radio), their new material also reveals a previously unseen intimate quality, exploring universal themes of nostalgia, friendship and growing up.
