Formed in 1971 when Roger Earl & Lonesome Dave Peverett left Savoy Brown, Foghat exploded onto the music scene with their 1972 debut album featuring the hit single "I Just Want to Make Love to You." But it was their 1975 release "Fool for the City," which included the iconic track "SLOW RIDE," that cemented their place in rock n’ roll history! Known for their electrifying live performances, their 1977 release of "Foghat LIVE," proved that they were a band to be experienced live!
In November of 2023, Foghat celebrated a major achievement with their album "SONIC MOJO," debuting at #1 on the Billboard Blues Charts and holding a Top 10 position for an impressive 27 weeks straight. The band was truly honored by the response!
