Raw black metal project 'Forgotten in Solitary' evolved during the lockdown of 2021. All music and lyrics for the first EP were self-written, recorded, and released independently in a small home studio in the Illawarra, a coastal region south of Sydney.
The music lent itself to raw-sounding instruments and abrasive sounds which capture the dark, cold essence of what this project is all about.
Dark, distortion-drenched guitars are backed by blasting drums that support
an unrelenting vocal that spews forth harsh screams that will leave your ears ringing.
The self-titled EP was re-released through under ground Australian/New Zealand label 'Antipodean Darkness' in 2022 and added to their catalog with a limited release of physical copies available.
The second EP titled 'Wraith of Desolation' was released in 2023 independently via 'Behind Bars Productions'. Again, blending harsh, menacing sounds and screams, Forgotten in Solitary creates a brutal soundscape for listeners who thrive on dark, aggressive music.
